Darby Extend-A-Truck Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2011 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty

Today on our 2011 Ford F250 we're doing a test fit of the Darby Extend-A-Truck Hitchmount and Load Extender. That part number is DTA944. Now we already have it loaded up in our first position and we're going to go over some features then show you our second position. Here this is going to be great for anything that's a large load, maybe across the top of your cab all the way back, or if you have it sitting diagonal from your truck bed to your extend-a-truck here. We've got our two points on either end, those would be great for tie down points. If you don't have any straps to go with this we do have some available here at etrailer.com. We've got all these different mounting points, five different holes where you can mount the T portion here. So you can line it up with your cab, or if you have a roof rack you can line it up with that, or you can have it lower, however you need to adjust it, it does adjust in those increments there. We're going to take a few measurements. First is going to be the closest point, we're going to have about 7 1/2 inches, added to our vehicle we have about 9 1/2 inches and we got a ground clearance of about 16 1/2 inches. more

Darby Extend A Truck Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2005 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty

Today on our 2005 Ford F250, we have our Darby Extend-A-Truck Hitch Mounted Load Extender, part number DTA944. We have this set up to where if we had something on the top of our cab, we could extend it out and set it up on here. We have different height options depending on the size of your truck. If you want to extend your bed instead of your cab, I'll show you how that's done right here. Take out this clip and pin, pull that out . If I can get this out. All right. more

Today on our 2007 Ford F250 Super Duty we're going to be doing a test fit of the Darby Extend-A-Truck. This is going to be for 2 inch receivers. It's going to offer that nice solid, sturdy, steel construction. It's going to give you a 350lb weight limit to either extend items outside of your bed of your truck, or above if you have a ladder rack or a headache rack on your vehicle. This will make a great addition that will be quick and easy instead of getting a ladder rack or some other item like so. It's going to come with 2 pins. Each of your hole slots is going to be an inch and a half adjustment. more
